Now Hiring: Landscape Labourer
We are recruiting a Landscape Labourer to learn all aspects of garden construction and landscaping.
Established in 2007, 4D Garden Design operates across the North West and specialises in designing and building premium, bespoke outdoor spaces. We provide a range of services to our clients using the best quality materials.
About The Role
As a landscape labourer, you will be responsible for a range of physical work, including:
- Garden Clearance
- Soil Movement
- Lifting and Carrying Materials, Equipment, And Tools
- Mixing And Barrowing Concrete, Compost, And Soil
- Assisting the Team On Site As Required
As the role progresses, we would like to help you develop skills in other areas of landscaping such as laying turf, walling, fencing, paving, chainsaw operation and general garden maintenance.
What We’re Looking For
No experience is necessary for this role, but the successful candidate will be ready and willing to learn all aspects of the industry. You should have an interest in garden construction and landscaping, as well as an enthusiasm to learn.
At 4D Garden Design, we operate as a team, which means a willingness to work with others and the ability to work successfully as a team is essential.
Although this job is advertised in the Ormskirk area, we work in various locations across the North West, so a full, clean driving licence and own car are essential. Unfortunately, candidates without their own car will not be considered.
We offer a mileage contribution to cover any commutes of more than 20 miles each way.
We work predominantly outside in all weathers, and due to the nature of the work we need the successful candidate to be able to cope with strenuous labour.
Hours And Salary
The usual hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, but there is occasional optional overtime at weekends. Immediate start is available.
The rate of pay will start at minimum wage, with the opportunity to increase this through the company’s skill levels and competency framework.
